Hiloula 15 Tevet un des grands Amoraim Rabbi shimon ben Laqish "Reish Laqish"

Selon la tradition, Reish Lakish est enterré avec Rabbi Yochanan dans une grotte à Ketzion.

Ribono Shel Olam – Maître du Monde, Qui peut tout faire, et de Qui rien n'est retenu, laisse-moi mériter par le mérite de Reish Lakish, que de Moshe jusqu'à Reish Lakish personne ne se leva comme Reish Lakish, qu'il se battait avec tous les bandits et tous les meurtriers, et tous ceux-là avaient peur de lui. 

Et quand Rabbi Ami tomba en captivité Rabbi Yochanan dit, “Laissez les morts être enveloppés dans leur linceul,” Reish Lakish dit, “Si je tuais tué ou être tué,” et aller faire bataille aux bandits, et à travers ceci, il sauva Rabbi Ami et le ramena à la vie, à la yeshiva.

De même ramène-moi à la vie par le mérite de Reish Lakish, et je vivrai une vie éternelle dans la yeshiva, dans la vie de la Torah.

Ribono Shel Olam – Master of the World, Who can do everything, and that nothing can impede [Your] purpose from You, let me merit in the merit of Reish Lakish, that from Moshe until Reish Lakish no one arose like Reish Lakish, that he would battle with all the bandits and all the murderers, and all of them feared him.

And when Rabbi Ami fell into captivity and Rabbi Yochanan said, “Let the dead be wrapped in its shroud,” Reish Lakish said, “Either I shall kill or I shall be killed,” and went to battle with the bandits, and through this, he rescued Rabbi Ami and returned him to life, to the yeshiva.

So too return me to life in the merit of Reish Lakish, and I shall live eternal life in the yeshiva, in the life of Torah.
