Rav Avitan's clip & summary, please feel free to share.

B'shem Kol Yisrael - בשם כל ישראל

*Hilula of Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l - 11th of Tammuz- ‪from Saturday night to Sunday‬ before sunset*

According to Mekubalim, on the 11th of Tammuz, we have the opportunity to continue receiving the light from Lag B'Omer. Those that are waiting for their salvation in all aspects of life, can pray for it on this day and B’H will receive it by the merit of the Hilula of a very righteous Tzaddik and Mekubal - *Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l*. Furthermore, Mekubalim have said that the 11th of Tammuz is as great, if not greater than Lag Ba’omer – day where our prayers have a tremendous power to annul bad decrees according to the Zohar. The 11th of Tammuz is a day of great Eit Ratson. There are many hints that relate the 11th of Tammuz to Lag Ba’Omer. So much so that in the past, it was customary to travel to Meron on the 11th of Tammuz.

Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l lived approximately 200 years ago, they called him the head of the house of Zohar. He was such a great Tzaddik and was known to love every single Jew. He went to great lengths  to help anyone in need. One day while he was in synagogue/shul, still wrapped in his tallit and tefillin, he was told of Jewish people nearby who were inflicted by a plague. The Tsadik was pained by the news and wanted to help. He was ready to give up his life to save his fellow Jews. After praying Shacharit, he placed his hand on the mezuza, closed his eyes, and prayed to Hashem. He asked that Hashem take his life as a kapara to spare the lives of the Jewish people. Rabbi Tzvi wanted to sacrifice his life for Am Yisrael. That same day, the Tsadik got sick and passed away the very next day and the plague disappeared. We should use this special day to pray for salvation for ourselves and all of am Israel.

Many have witnessed tremendous miracles by the merit of Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l.

In order to connect to the Tsadik one should:

-Light two candles. One in honour (Bizechut) Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l (and give Tsedaka) and the other in honour of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai zt’l

- Read Tehillim chapters 90-100 (צ עד פרק ק)

- Give a few coins to tsedaka (charity)

- Reach chapter 119 in Tehillim corresponding to the letters of your name and your mother's name from  chapter 119 (The chapter goes in order of the Hebrew Alphabet and each letter has 8 verses that begin with that letter). After you read the letters that pertain to your name for example

‎דוד בן שרה

Read the verses of the letters of the word .ב.ר.כ.ה

- It is a big segula to read the page below (from Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov’s teachings) 3 times in a row (we apologize as we do not have the translation but we included a different teaching with a rough translation in a seperate message).

Then pray to Hashem for all your needs In the merit of the Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov zt’l as well as by the merit of Rabbi Shimon Bar Yochai zt’l

May all your prayers be answered for the best B’H.

(Please excuse any typos and or grammatical errors)

As previously mentioned, this is a (Hebrew and translated) text from the teaching of the Mekoubal Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov, whose Hilula is today (Saturday night/Sunday before sunset). May his merit be with us.

It is good to read from a Tsadik’s teachings on the day of his Hilula before praying for everything you and your family needs.

Roughly translated, the Tsadik wrote:

An important commandment in the Torah is to love your fellow Jew and to look at him/her with a good eye in order to see a perfect being. When there is jealousy and hatred and one thinks he is better than his friend, it is as though he is criticizing Hashem directly.

The power of loving your fellow Jew opens up pipelines which brings down many blessings to the world.

The Baal Shem Tov’s students had the custom of kissing and praising each other when they would meet.

It is each and every Jew’s duty to make extra efforts to love one another as much as possible.

May Rabbi Tzvi from Zeditchov’s merit protect us and all of am Israel. Amen!

May the Tsadik’s merit be with us and all of am Israel. Amen!
