B'shem Kol Yisrael - בשם כל ישראל
*Sunday night/ Monday day is a very auspicious day that goes back to the times of Queen Esther and Mordechai Hatzaddik- the date is mentioned in the megila*
On the 23rd of Sivan, it is a big Eit Ratzon (auspisious time for prayer). On this day, the decree of Haman was nullified. It is, therefore, a segula that on the same day, one can nullify any bad decree s/he has in their life even if it was written and sealed in shamayim (in the heavens).
(The above Daf HaYeshuot if from last year, we’ve adjusted the information for this year)
1. Sunday night or during the day on Monday, light a candle in honor of Mordechai HaYehudi and one in honor of Esther HaMalka - Esther bat Avichayil.
2. It's good to give a couple of coins (3) to Tzedaka (charity) in their honor as well.
3. It is good to have a meal with bread (wash, make Hamotzi) and to say Birkat HaMazon with joy after the meal.
4. Read the letters of your name bat/ben your mother’s name (or father’s depending on your custom) in Chapter 119 of Tehillim. For example, David ben Sara would start by reading all the tehillim pertaining to the letter ד, then ו, and then ד again, saying the verses with ב.נ etc. Until all the letters of דוד בן שרה were read.
5. Ideally, one should say chapter 22 in Tehillim. (It is the Tehillim that is said to have been written by Esther HaMalka prior to going to see King Achashverosh)
This is followed by Chapter 8 of Megilat Esther, verses 9-17.

6. Pray the following:
Master of the world, we’ve already heard of all the miracles and wonders that you did for our forefathers and those that are always revealed to all the generations and to every individual. And I therefore come before you, the maker of miracles in all generations and at all times, please have mercy on us with outmost pity, please help us and grant us wonderful salvations. Only you know the grandeur of the miracle of the time of Mordechai and Esther, that won over the kingship of the evil Haman from Amalek, diminishing their power from the world We are now standing before you, awaiting salvation just like you helped destroy the evil power of Haman Amalek. Please help us and stand by us for all generations. Please send us miracles and wonders and redeem us physically and spiritually.
7. *The most important thing to do is to beg Hashem for mercy and ask for all your hearts desires.* It's a great day for prayers to be accepted. May it be Hashem’s will to bless us with all our hearts desires for the best, and may all bad decrees be nullified, the way Haman's decree to destroy Am Yisrael was nullified on this day.
